“Therese has been my tutor since I was seven. Throughout these many years she has shown extreme dedication to her teaching. She is my mentor.”
“We read genres of all types: essays, poems, plays, fiction, and non-fiction. We read books from authors such as Dante, Chekhov, Shakespeare, and many more. I was better read than most kids my age because of Therese’s influence on me. She would encourage me to read books from authors who would challenge me to go one step further and allowed me to think differently.”
“Therese encouraged me to write essays to practice my writing. She was never frustrated with me. I am no longer resistant to writing due to her patience and persistence with me.”
